31’ Water Taxi/Crew Boat with Surface Drive
A new breed of crew boat is on the water. Meet Eagle 44, a 31′ 12 passenger EagleCraft, powered with a Volvo D9-500 (500HP diesel) and driven by an Arneson ASD10 surface drive. Hakai Beach Management has a new 31′ EagleCraft research/crew vessel already operating in Hakai Pass. She’s powered with twin Volvo Penta D4-260’s with DPH drives, fitted with a powerful hydraulic winch and A-frame for collecting samples, and rigged out with Raymarine electronics.
